What to Expect:
The HR Development Program’s Mission is to build a deep pipeline of high performing Human Resources Business Partners with the capacity to transform into future people leaders in the HR function. During the course of this 24-month development program, you will experience two rotations, providing exposure to both corporate headquarter and field-based environments. The first rotation spans 6 months and is based at one of our U.S. Headquarter locations. The second, 18-month rotation is located in one of our factories or distribution centers.
Nestlé’s HRDPs, operate as true HR Business Partners, apply HR skills to solve real world business problems, and make a vital impact on the businesses that produce and distribute some of the most iconic products on earth. You are expected to take a leadership role in the execution of employee development, employee relations/labor relations, policy/contract interpretation, compensation administration, staffing and legal compliance. While our HRDPs have a significant amount of responsibility, they are armed with a dynamic support system, including highly capable direct report managers, a Senior HR mentor, and a peer ambassador. Our program incorporates structured and rotational learning experiences that provide a robust, diversified skillset upon program graduation.
Here’s a breakdown of the HRDP experience:
• Manage HR projects assigned from different HR specialist groups including a presentation to the Senior Leadership Team with recommendation of findings.
• Execute strategic work across a number of key HR disciplines including: recruitment, compensation, talent management, diversity & inclusion, organizational development and change management.
